St Paul’s, DPS boys triumph

Hyderabad: St Paul’s High School, Hyderguda thrashed MGM School 51-15 while Delhi Public School registered a hard fought 55-49 win against St Andrews School in the boys section of the Indian School Basketball League, conducted by the Hyderabad District Basketball Association, on Wednesday.

Nihal Kumar, who claimed 20 points for St Paul’s, brought misery upon MGM School as he singlehandedly won the game for his side. For the winners, Earnest also contributed with his crucial seven points.

In the other encounter, DPS got the better of St Andrews in a nail-biting contest. For DPS, Bhanu (16), Abhinav (14), and Sujeeth (11) displayed excellent team work to record their side’s victory.

Meanwhile, Future Kids defeated St. Martin’s School Malkajgiri 45-19 while P Obul Reddy School beat All Saints School 29-16 respectively. Md Sameer was in top form collecting 19 points and guiding his side Atomic Energy Centre School to a 34-23 victory over St Joseph’s School.
