Hyderabad: Teegala Krishna Reddy College of Pharmacy in association with the Scientific and Applied Research Centre has organised a two-day national conference on transpiring novelty and hi-tech knowledge in advanced research in pharmaceutical sciences.
MP Konda Vishweshwar Reddy emphasised on the general measures to be adapted to minimise undesired drug interactions and adverse effects which was the key responsibility of a pharmacist who was equivalent to scientists and doctors in the healthcare system. He said the State government was planning to take necessary steps to develop Greater Hyderabad as a Pharma City.
MLA Teegala Krishna Reddy said the Telangana government was striving hard to provide employment to pharmacy students in various areas of pharmacy. A souvenir CD of TKRPS -2K17 with 300 scientific abstracts was released. Students from various colleges took part in the scientific poster presentation and skits based on theme of pharmacy. Cultural programmes were also organised.
