SCR GM visits Tirupati railway station

South Central Railway (SCR) General Manager, Vinod Kumar Yadav on Friday visited Tirupati Railway Station checked the facilities available including the platforms, lifts, booking offices, food stalls and waiting areas among others.

Hyderabad: On his first tour after assuming charge as the South Central Railway (SCR) General Manager, Vinod Kumar Yadav on Friday visited Tirupati Railway Station. He was accompanied by Amitabh Ojha, Divisional Railway Manager and other officials of Guntakal Division.

After undertaking an extensive tour of the railway station, Mr.Yadav checked the facilities available including the platforms, lifts, booking offices, food stalls and waiting areas among others. He also inspected the train maintenance pit lines area abutting the platforms at the station to analyze the maintenance capacity for trains in the yard.

Later, speaking to the presspersons, Mr.Yadav reiterated SCR’s priority on aspects of safety.

“Safety is foremost and there cannot be any limitation towards attaining it,” he said.
