SCCL polls pass off peacefully at Jayashankar Bhupalpally

Jayashankar Bhupalpally: The polling for the recognised trade union of the SCCL has passed off peacefully at Bhupalpally town on Thursday.  As many as 6415 votes have been polled against the total of 6854 registering 94 per cent polling.

The Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) authorities have made arrangements for the smooth conduct of the election.  Nine polling stations have been set up for the voting.

According to personnel manager Rajendra Kumar, a total of 69 officials and staff have been appointed for the polling and counting duties. The counting began at 7 pm and the result is expected to be out by the midnight.
