ICFAI organises Conference of Nations- 2017

ICON-2017 was aimed to foster global citizenship and address current world issues related to regional conflicts, peace keeping, human rights, economic and social developments, disarmament and nuclear security, and environment.

Hyderabad: The ICFAI Law School, ICFAI University, Hyderabad, organised a three day ICON (ICFAI Conference of Nations-2017) on its University Campus at Dontanpally.

Tadepalli Venkata Bhaskar, General Counsel and HoD Law, GVK group of companies, who participated as chief guest said knowledge, communication, courtesy, flexibility, integrity, inter-personal skills, positive attitude, team building, and work ethics were skills which alleviate an individual professionally. He spoke about the importance of skills and arguments and added that it helped lawyers to be proficient in their career.

AV Narsimha Rao, Dean, ICFAI Law School, in his inaugural address highlighted the relevance of adding Lok Sabha as one of the committees in the ICON. He said that one could have a better understanding of the international format of Model United Nations only by having a comprehensive knowledge on the Indian set up.
