Coaching classes for competitive exams at UoH

Hyderabad: Students of the University of Hyderabad can now attend classes for preparing for competitive examinations. On the request of the university administration, Dr KS Rao, IAS Academy would organise guest lecturers on civil services, Telangana State Public Service Commission Examinations and also Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission.

The classes would be held daily at Dr Zakir Hussian Lecture Hall Complex on the university campus. The guest lectures were inaugurated by Appa Rao, Vice-Chancellor, UoH on January 10.

The topics proposed to be covered are History, Geography, Polity, Economy, Environmental Issues, Climate Change, Bio- Diversity, International Relations, Biology, Physics, Science & Technology, Ethics, Current Affairs and Aptitude.

The Students’ union and other student associations have welcomed the move by the university administration. These classes will be coordinated by the office of the Dean-Students’ Welfare.
