Central varsity at Anakapalle by April

Central University work to be completed at the GVMC school and handed over to the varsity authorities and begin classes by April.

The Central University classes would begin at the GVMC School in Woodpeta of Anakapalle from April, according to Anakapalle MLA Peela Govinda Satyanarayana.

The work would be completed at the school in a month’s time and handed over to the varsity authorities, he said, in the presence of Central University Deputy Commissioner AVL Jagannadharao at Anakapalle on Monday. The Central University was sanctioned through the good offies of Anakapalle MP Aanti srinivasa Rao on his request, he stated.

According to the legislator, ten acres of land was allotted for the university in Achchiyyapeta village in Anakapalle mandal. The university had also been sanctioned Rs 25 crore and work on the roads to the place would be taken up with NREGS funds. The farmers would be given compensation for the land acuired for the upose.

The roads and school building would be constructed according to vastu and as many as eight sheds would be constructed in addition to the existing 13 classrooms at the school premises.
Basic facilities such as drinking water and toilets and other amenties would be provided and the entire premises would be handed over to the university after one mnth, Mr. Satyanarayana said.
