Apart from the big-budget, star-studded movies which were released during Sankranti, Head Constable Venkatramaiah starring R Narayana Murthy and Jayasudha also hit the screens last week. But, there was hardly any hype or talk on the film which was made to spread a message in public about the life of a sincere policeman. After a long hiatus, the multi-talented actor is back to movies with his latest release which was directed by Chadalavada Srinivasa Rao and produced by Chadalavada Padmavathi.
“I am glad that the film had received positive feedback from all those who watched the movie. After acting in films that belong to a different genre, I wanted to act in roles of those people who strive hard for the welfare of public. My wish came true with this film and the success is as huge and happy as I expected,” said Murthy.
Head Constable Venkatramaiah is a sincere cop who is totally against taking and giving bribe. Coming from a middle-class family, he always has to take care of the needs of his family members whose expectations were too high sometimes, making it difficult for him to fulfil.
“I was ecstatic when I came to know that I will be acting next to Jayasudha. Nobody else could fulfil the role better than her. She has acted with every actor in the industry and I respect her for her professionalism. The role of an unsatisfied wife, woman and a desperate mother were naturally played by the natural actor,” said Murthy while expressing his happiness over working with one of his favourite actors.
The actor also said that he has plans of directing as well as producing films under his own banner soon. He said that he worked hard to carry every emotion without hurting the audience. Fortunately, Telugu audiences are always ready to accept his films which share a message.
“The director of the film has written the script well and he always had better clarity of how the film has to be, and the output is satisfying enough. Thanks to all the well-wishers who were always by my side,” the actor concluded.
