A 10th class student died at Thungathurthy

Veeraboina Sandeep, a 10th class student died after falling into an open well at Ganugubandla village in Suryapet district.

Suryapet: A 10th class student Veeraboina Sandeep(14) died after falling into an agricultural open well at Ganugubandla village of Thungathurthy mandal in Suryapet district.

Sandeep, was the son of Lingaiah and Mallamma, residents of Ganugubandla. He was a 10th standard student of Zilla Parishad High School at Thungathurthy. He went to agricultural open well, which was owned by his family, to switch of the motor pump. It was suspected that Sandeep slipped  into the open well, while he was trying to see the water level in it.  As there was less water and rock forms on the bottom of the well, he received injuries in his head after falling on a rock.

When Sandeep did not return to the house even after late night, his parents with the help of locals searched for him at their agricultural fields. Finally, they found the dead Sandeep in the open well.

Head Master of Thungathurthy ZP School Sundar Rao said that it was unfortunate that the bright student Sandeep lost his life. He expressed grief on the death of the student of his school.

Thungathurthy police rushed to the sport and shifted the body to government hospital at  Thungathurthy for postmortem.
